Armed groups in Gaza and Lebanon should immediately release the three Israeli soldiers held as hostages since last summer, Human Rights Watch said today. Israel should also release Hamas legislators and ministers apparently taken in reprisal.

Comment: This article leans. It names the Israelis being held but does not name the Palestinians. It also is written in a way that makes it appear as if the Israelis react to illegal actions by the Palestinians. In fact, the Palestinians took the Israelis in reaction to overwhelming abuse and oppression of the Palestinians by the illegal Israeli occupiers and settlers of stolen Palestinian land. Of course, we do not suggest that any Palestinians have an excuse for returning evil for evil.
