Asked to name the most important thing that can be done to fix the healthcare system in the U.S., Americans are more likely to mention universal healthcare coverage than any other single fix. An extraordinary 63% of Americans under age 50 say a universal healthcare plan is the most important way to fix the system. Democrats and independents are also much more likely to mention universal health coverage than are Republicans.
