CUBA - CALL FOR IMPRISONED JOURNALISTS TO BE RELEASED ON MEDICAL GROUNDS - 6.07.2007

Reporters Without Borders fears for the safety of Cuba's imprisoned journalists after a dissident died in a cell on 24 June. The organisation is also worried about their health and calls on the authorities to release them on medical grounds. One ailing journalist, Normando Hernández González, requested a medical release a year ago and is still waiting for a response.
