ISRAEL / PALESTINIAN TERRITORIES - CALL FOR PROPER INVESTIGATION INTO HOW ISRAELI SOLDIERS SHOT AND SERIOUSLY WOUNDED PALESTINIAN CAMERAMAN - 11.07.2007

Reporters Without Borders has written to Israeli defence minister Ehud Barak calling for a investigation to "dispel any doubt" about the circumstances in which Israeli soldiers fired on Palestinian journalist Imad Ghanem, a cameraman working for Al-Aqsa TV. He was shot twice while lying on the ground - injured and without a weapon - next to his camera.
