CIA BLAMED FOR FAILING TO ACT ON AL QAIDA PRE-9/11

The CIA's Inspector General has concluded the CIA had no comprehensive strategy for dealing with al Qaida before the Sept. 11th attacks and failed to act on information indicating that suspected Al Qaida members had been dispatched to the United States. The newly declassified report released states that the CIA had identified two of the 9/11 hijackers as threats over a year before the attacks. But the CIA failed to rapidly pass their names —- Nawaf al Hamzi and Khalid al Mihdhar — on to the State Department or to the FBI. The report said that between January and March 2000, up to 60 individuals read CIA cables about how the two men were expected to travel to the United States. It wasn't until late August 2001 that the men were put on watch lists that might have resulted in their capture before the attacks

Democracy Now!

This is CIA propaganda mistakenly and naively being repeated without qualification by Democracy Now!

The neocons have been pushing for consolidating power by undoing the restrictions designed to prevent political abuses by so-called intelligence agencies.

This story also leads away from the fact that 9/11 was an inside job to some degree and that a massive White House cover-up has taken place concerning White House links to 9/11.

The reason for this push is in furtherance of the Capitalist Empire. It is also racist and part of the false-Christian and false-Zionist militant Crusade against likewise militant and necessarily apostate Muslims.
