WHAT AN ARTICLE IN THE WIKIPEDIA COVERING THE REAL LIBERAL CHRISTIAN CHURCH MIGHT LOOK LIKE

The Real Liberal Christian Church (a.k.a. RLC Church) is a Christian denomination founded in 2006 by Tom Usher in Burien, Washington, U.S.A. The Church is pacifistic; sanctions only chastity, celibacy, and monogamous heterosexuality with no sex outside of marriage (one flesh); and is small-c communistic, in direct opposition to Marxist and Leninist militant-revolutionary Communism. (See also: Christian communism and Christian socialism.) The RLC Church states that it is for giving and sharing all, peace, and sexual purity (harmlessness), all of which the Church sums up as unselfishness, and against greed, violence, and sexual depravity, which are inadequately constrained forms of harmful lust (desires; appetites) that is selfishness.

The RLC Church is based upon what it has termed Isaiah/Jesus-Liberal Theology. This theology, according to the RLC Church's website, propounds unavoidable, compelling (in Biblical terms; compelling Christians to bring forth fruit—good works), crucial themes necessary to the proper understanding and undertaking of, what the Real Liberal Christian Church regards as, authentic or real Christianity. According to the RLC Church, such themes emerge through comprehension of the proffered conflation of Biblical verses, principally the following:

  1. Chapter 32, verse 5 of The Book of Isaiah
  2. Chapter 22, verse 25 of The Gospel of Luke
  3. Chapter 2, verses 44 and 45 of The Acts of the Apostles and
  4. Chapter 4, verse 32 of The Acts of the Apostles.

Isaiah/Jesus-Liberal Theology deals directly with semantics and expounds upon euphemisms (mild, indirect, or vague terms substituted for those considered harsh, blunt, or offensive) and the process of pejoration (words become negative or less elevated) and how those have been traditional tools to retard redemption by suppressing the true message of Jesus Christ.

Applied consistently within the exegetical or hermeneutical (interpretive) process, this theology and consequential agendum of the RLC Church stand distinctly apart from traditional theological frameworks and agenda, hence the new denomination, states the Church.

History:

The impetus behind the theological development and the RLC Church was the lead up to the U.S. Iraq War. To Tom Usher, it was excruciatingly obvious at the time that major distortions and deliberate lies were being foisted upon the American people and the world by those holding effective power over the U.S. government and United Nations, namely George W. Bush and the neoconservatives {with whom the RLC Church includes, among others, false-Zionists (covered below) and false-Christians (See: Christian Zionists; John Hagee; Reconstructionists; Rushdoony; and Dominionists)} surrounding George W. Bush within and without his administration. In searching for 1) the answer to why the U.S. was heading toward the predicted disastrous outcome and 2) the solution to that problem and all the other problems facing humanity, Isaiah/Jesus-Liberal Theology unfolded.

The RLC Church's written work entitled, There is No Such Thing as a Conservative-Republican Christian: Jesus is a small-c communist, goes into this in much detail.

Isaiah/Jesus-Liberal Theology:

According to the RLC Church, Isaiah/Jesus-Liberal Theology can be unfolded starting with certain verses in The Book of Isaiah and cross-referencing key words and ideas or themes that flow through The Bible. The key verses are 1 through 8 of messianic (prophesying about the savior) Chapter 32 and are as follows:

  1. Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.
  2. And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
  3. And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.
  4. The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.
  5. The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful. [Emphasis added]
  6. For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
  7. The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
  8. But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.

Keywords are "liberal" and "churl." The false-liberal is the one who speaks villainy, works iniquity, practices hypocrisy, utters error against God, and leads the people astray into spiritual and physical depravation. The churl is the stingy soul synonymous with conservative capitalists. Today, we hear the churls spewing many lies selfishly designed to keep the poor downtrodden and to even kill them off (via droughts, starvation, and wars, etc.) for the sake of the wealthy. They also claim to be the source of wealth benefiting the many (benefactors bringing forth bounty), whereas they are truly a negative (a drain on the whole)—just look at them destroying the Earth.

According to the RLC Church, The Real Liberal brings forth the real bounty from God through faith that is above and beyond what has been traditionally seen as the call of duty and traditional level of expectation.

O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. Matthew 12:34 (KJV).

For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Matthew 13:12 (KJV).

["Abundance of the heart" means compassion, love, and the giving-and-sharing spirit.]

The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. Proverbs 11:25 (KJV).

It means the generous soul shall be blessed with even more to give and share.

Also, the Real Liberal does not advocate what is harmful, such as sexual behaviors that promote diseases.

The Gospels also record Jesus specifically advocating that the rich give away all for the sake of the poor.

"Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me." Matthew 19:21 (KJV).

He also said that for all practical purposes it was impossible for a person rich in mammon to enter Heaven.

"And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." Matthew 19:24 (KJV).

If you don't apprehend how this ties in with what Isaiah said in Isaiah 32:5, states the RLC Church, ("The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful"), then consider Luke 22:25-26 (KJV), "And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. [Emphasis added] But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve." Look carefully at the word "benefactors." Jesus is saying here that those who exercise authority are not truly benefactors. The label is misapplied. It isn't deserved. It's an error. The real meaning of the word has been turned upside down by those who have exercised authority over the nations. They are not truly beneficial. They are not really benevolent. They are not bringing forth the real bounty. They are churls, per Isaiah and Jesus. They cause more harm than good. They are destroying the Earth, just as their fathers did before them. Who exercises authority over the world? The rich do. The world bankers and international financiers aren't Christian. The capitalists don't serve as the younger or as the least. They are on balanced served. The richer they are, the more other people serve them and not the other way around. "Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many." Matthew 20:28 (KJV). How much plainer and clearer can one make it? What does it call upon those who understand to do? What happens to those who turn their backs and reject it and don't help? It's all in the Gospels, all backed up by a proper reading of the Old Testament, just as Jesus read it.

How did the Apostles live even after Jesus had ascended? The Real Liberal Christian Church says that Chapters 2 and 4 of The Acts of the Apostles state it plainly and clearly such that no capitalist can dispute without rationalizing, claims the RLC Church.

"And all that believed were together, and had all things common. And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need." Acts 2:44-45 (KJV). You will notice here, says the real-liberal communist, that contrary to popular misconception, the concept, "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need," did not originate with Karl Marx. It came straight out of The New Testament.

"And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common." Acts 4:32 (KJV).

There is much more to the Isaiah/Jesus-Liberal Theology, but it all builds upon feelings, thoughts, and actions consistent with this outline or framework.

Ideological Spectrum:

According to the Real Liberal Christian Church, Isaiah/Jesus-Liberal interpretation of scripture leads to the revelation that the status quo version of the ideological or political spectrum is wrong and that the Real-Liberal position on what is the real or correct spectrum of selfish versus unselfish (liberal) consists of, among other things, the following:

  • Giving and sharing all (communism, small-c)
  • Total peace (mercy; forgiveness; total disarmament; absolute pacifism, including for self-defense; non-coercion; non-punishment), and
  • Sexual harmlessness (only disease-free sexuality)

The other end of what the RLC Church sees as this revealed spectrum, therefore, consists of acquisitiveness, covetousness, greed, hoarding, stinginess, violence, war, and sexual offense and the like, all of which are sins and selfish and false (false-hearted, mistaken ideas, leading to damnation).

Concisely, the RLC Church maintains that the Isaiah/Jesus-Liberal system reduces to unselfishness versus selfishness as distinguishing good from evil or right from wrong and is completely consistent with Jesus's teaching concerning love of God (the Greatest Commandment), the Golden Rule (the Second Great Commandment), and his New Commandment.

And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. Mark 12:28-31 (KJV).

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. John 13:34 (KJV).

Christian Commons Project:

The main work of the RLC Church is to bring to fruition its Christian Commons Project, which is for converting private and governmental lands into genuine communal property (owned by the RLC Church, owned by its members) to be used for the benefit of the whole and never again for the private, special privilege or advantage of anyone at the negative expense of anyone else. This is not to be done in the spirit of covetousness but rather for righteousness' sake that the poor might finally be properly fed, housed, and clothed, etcetera.

Isaiah/Jesus-Liberal Theology says that this mentality or spiritual position is the solution.

The Christian Commons includes one purse or a common treasury directed societally that is to say Churchwide with all members free to participate in discussions and decisions on the movement of the Holy Spirit (the conscience of the RLC Church, the consensus of what course of action the RLC Church should take, and what constitutes righteousness, etc.).

Giving and Sharing All: Anti-Capitalism:

The Real Liberal Christian Church is opposed to capitalism as being inconsistent with both the teachings and lifestyle of Jesus Christ. Consequently, the RLC Church is opposed to usury, which is still correctly defined as lending at any rate of interest. According to the RLC Church, usury is diametrically opposed to the spirit of the Good Samaritan. It, usury, is personal, selfish gain off the labor of negatively exploited others.

"Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away." Matthew 5:42 (KJV).

The RLC Church is opposed to banking, currency, and all forms of coercive taxation. According to the RLC Church, taxes are coerced (and often used for ...continues... Click next page number below. The following should appear at the end of every post:

According to the IRS, "Know the law: Avoid political campaign intervention":

Tax-exempt section 501(c)(3) organizations like churches, universities, and hospitals must follow the law regarding political campaigns. Unfortunately, some don't know the law.

Under the Internal Revenue Code, all section 501(c)(3) organizations are prohibited from participating in any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office. The prohibition applies to campaigns at the federal, state and local level.

Violation of this prohibition may result in denial or revocation of tax-exempt status and the imposition of certain excise taxes. Section 501(c)(3) private foundations are subject to additional restrictions.

Political Campaign Intervention

Political campaign intervention includes any activities that favor or oppose one or more candidates for public office. The prohibition extends beyond candidate endorsements.

Contributions to political campaign funds, public statements of support or opposition (verbal or written) made by or on behalf of an organization, and the distribution of materials prepared by others that support or oppose any candidate for public office all violate the prohibition on political campaign intervention.

Factors in determining whether a communication results in political campaign intervention include the following:

  • Whether the statement identifies one or more candidates for a given public office
  • Whether the statement expresses approval or disapproval of one or more candidates' positions and/or actions
  • Whether the statement is delivered close in time to the election
  • Whether the statement makes reference to voting or an election
  • Whether the issue addressed distinguishes candidates for a given office

Many religious organizations believe, as we do, that the above constitutes a violation of the First Amendment of the US Constitution.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

That said, we make the following absolutely clear here:

  • The Real Liberal Christian Church and Christian Commons Project not only do not endorse any candidate for any secular office, we say that Christianity forbids voting in such elections.
  • Furthermore, when we discuss any public-office holder's position, policy, action or inaction, we definitely are not encouraging anyone to vote for that office holder's position.
  • We are not trying to influence secular elections but rather want people to come out from that entire fallen system.
  • When we analyze or discuss what is termed "public policy," we do it entirely from a theological standpoint with an eye to educating professing Christians and those to whom we are openly always proselytizing to convert to authentic Christianity.
  • It is impossible for us to fully evangelize and proselytize without directly discussing the pros and cons of public policy and the positions of secular-office holders, hence the unconstitutionality of the IRS code on the matter.
  • We are not rich and wouldn't be looking for a fight regardless. What we cannot do is compromise our faith (which seeks to harm nobody, quite the contrary).
  • We render unto Caesar what is Caesar's. We render unto God what is God's.
  • When Caesar says to us that unless we shut up about the unrighteousness of Caesar's policies and practices, we will lose the ability of people who donate to us to declare their donations as deductions on their federal and state income-tax returns, we say to Caesar that we cannot shut up while exercising our religion in a very reasonable way.
  • We consider the IRS code on this matter as deliberate economic duress (a form of coercion) and a direct attempt by the federal government to censor dissenting, free political and religious speech.
  • It's not freedom of religion if they tax it.

And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute? He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers? Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free. (Matthew 17:24-26)
