The most powerful leader in the world had called upon me to speak on his behalf and help restore credibility he lost amid the failure to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. So I stood at the White House briefing room podium in front of the glare of the klieg lights for the better part of two weeks and publicly exonerated two of the senior-most aides in the White House: Karl Rove and Scooter Libby.
There was one problem. It was not true.
I had unknowingly passed along false information. And five of the highest ranking officials in the administration were involved in my doing so: Rove, Libby, the Vice President, the President's chief of staff, and the President himself. — Scott McClellan
Scott McClellan is on public record now as expressing in writing that the President of the United States of America, George W. Bush, and others were involved in getting him, Scott, publicly and falsely to exonerate Karl Rove and Scooter Libby in the illegal outing of Valerie Plame as an undercover CIA operative. The outing was retaliation for Valerie's husband, Joseph Wilson, exposing the Yellowcake Forgery, which knowing forgery Bush used in his State of the Union Address in drumming up false pretexts for attacking Iraq.
With the Democrats in charge in the U.S. House of Representatives, which body is responsible for bringing charges of impeachment, why haven't even any hearings been held, even though Democrats ran for reelection on a platform of impeachment hearings?
The answers, among others, are as follows: While Bush is in office, the Democrats fear him. They fear he will do even worse things than otherwise if the Democrats launch hearings. They fear where all of the investigations could lead, including to Democrat wrong-doing and culpability. They secretly want him to take the lead and fall for attacking Iran. Let him do the dirty work and than leave office. The Democratic leadership doesn't want to upset the money flowing in from the false Zionists who are more than hedging their bets by backing Hillary Clinton, since they can see the writing on the wall that short of an all-out dictatorship being declared under Bush, they've spent all of the political capital Bush had and more. There is also an economic meltdown occurring that only huge quantities of cheap energy (oil) flowing into the U.S. will offset. The U.S. must have Iraqi and Iranian oil if it is going to regain it's slipping position as the world's global economic superpower. Without that oil, the U.S. military supremacy will fade right along with it's economy.
They all look really, really bad to the general public.
