CUTTING AIR POLLUTION WITH TITANIUM DIOXIDE IN CEMENT

An Italian company, Italcementi, is mixing titanium dioxide into cement and finding that it neutralizes certain air pollutants such as nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides. They claim that if 15 percent of Milan were covered in this material (TX Active), air pollution would be cut 50%.
