SUPERDELEGATE ELITISM

"Clinton counts on superdelegates," by Susan Milligan. The Boston Globe. February 13, 2008.

The superdelegate idea is decidedly elitist in the worst sense of the term. The Party didn't like George McGovern winning the nomination and then being landslided in the general election. However, the one who beat him turned out to be a disaster. Forever pandering to the middle to win guarantees that the radical transformation necessary will not come short of the huge catastrophe such as the Great Tribulation.
