AP - A judge issued a temporary restraining order Thursday against animal rights groups and activists accused of threatening UCLA employees and graduate students because they conduct research using animals.
RLCC: Well, we don't agree with some of the tactics of the groups named. However, the article shows a great lack of balance by not discussing the types of research going on with the animals. Cruelty is cruelty. It doesn't matter that it's hiding behind some research that could be claimed to benefit human beings. Humanity would be far better off giving up all cruelty to animals. That would go a long way in healing everyone.
Some of the tactics used against animal researchers is counter-productive though. Returning evil for evil is simply unenlightened.
