RLCC Comment: The article simply says, stick with the old. It doesn't say why though. The reason Jesus remains right is because homosexuality is harmful. It is not good, and it is not benign. It is harmful, always. That's what is being ignored. Jesus said to be harmless as doves. Homosexuality is not as harmless as a dove. It promotes and spreads disease, because it is one. Are people born diseased? Yes. Does that mean we are to abandon ourselves to disease? No it does not. Christianity is the calling to overcome and rise out of imperfection into perfection. Otherwise, we may as well have the morals of snakes. (Snakes are amoral.)
Are we to coerce others? No. Are we to understand the difficulty that accompanies disease? Yes. However, no matter the disease, we are to admit it. We are not to twist the truth to call disease not disease. Harm is harm.
