JIMMY CARTER WINS IN A LANDSLIDE: 64 PERCENT OF ISRAELIS FAVOR NEGOTIATIONS WITH HAMAS

According to a Haaretz-Dialog poll conducted Tuesday under the supervision of Professor Camil Fuchs of Tel Aviv University,

Sixty-four percent of Israelis say the government must hold direct talks with the Hamas government in Gaza toward a cease-fire and the release of captive soldier Gilad Shalit. Less than one-third (28 percent) still opposes such talks.

Now what, neocon liars?

Well, that sort of shows you that the Israeli people are being led by those who are just as out of step with the general will as are the neocons of the Bush administration out of step with Americans in general. What democracies?
