This so-called Bishop, Gene Robinson, divorced his wife without cause (had she been unfaithful) and entered into fornication with another male. He completely ignores Jesus's teaching on the subject.

31It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: 32But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. — Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:31-32).

Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. (Mark 8:38).

He also ignores that Jesus said, be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. (Matthew 10:16). However, homosexuality is anything but harmless: "Homosexuals: What they ignore."

He has no business being a bishop of any group calling itself Christian. It gives Christianity and God a bad reputation. It misleads the people from the strait and narrow and unto the wide path to ruination. It is pure evil. Anyone who feels, thinks, speaks, or acts otherwise is a liar.

BOSTON (Reuters) - The openly gay U.S. Episcopal bishop at the center of the Anglican church's global battle over homosexuality, has entered into a civil union with his longtime partner at a private ceremony.

About 120 guests gathered at St. Paul's Church in New Hampshire for Saturday's ceremony for Bishop Gene Robinson and his partner of more than 19 years, Mark Andrew. The event was kept private out of respect for next month's worldwide Anglican conference, Robinson's spokesman, Mike Barwell, said on Sunday.
