This whole capitalist system is why there are people traumatically thrown out of work. If everyone worked for everyone, and if everyone housed, clothed, and fed everyone, then whenever a job is finished, the workers would have no anxieties or feelings of depression. They would just ask, "What's next on the list of things that need doing." There wouldn't be any pay. There wouldn't be any money. There would just be people serving the whole and being served by the whole. The people together would decide. No one would declare himself king by coercive means. Anyone looked up to would simply be a natural leader in righteousness. Nevertheless, each person would be as free as free can be.
The reasons for holding back from this are stupid.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The number of U.S. workers filing new claims for jobless benefits rose more than expected last week while those remaining on benefit rolls hit a four-year high, the government said on Thursday.
It was the seventh straight week claims were above 3 million, evidence that unemployed workers are having a hard time finding a job.
