Most people will do anything they can to survive. That doesn't make doing the wrong thing any less wrong.

I believe that all life is worthy and its not my place to take it. If someone raped my daughter I would kill them if I could. If I did, it would still be wrong but I would do it anyway. That doesn't make it less wrong.

The commentator, "whatever," is being honest in admitting that he or she would in fact be sinning. One has to arrive at being at least this honest before arriving at being able to overcome the temptation.

The commentator, Dan, isn't going to even attempt to overcome. He's going to cave into sin for the sake of this temporary fleshly existence. That's a dead soul by the definition given us by Jesus Christ.
