Prove it, neocon liars. Prove any of it. Prove all of it!

2d Session
H. CON. RES. 362
Expressing the sense of Congress regarding the threat posed to international peace, stability in the Middle East, and the vital national security interests of the United States by Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons and regional hegemony, and for other purposes.
May 22, 2008
Mr. ACKERMAN (for himself and Mr. PENCE) submitted the following concurrent resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Foreign Affairs
Expressing the sense of Congress regarding the threat posed to international peace, stability in the Middle East, and the vital national security interests of the United States by Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons and regional hegemony, and for other purposes.

This Resolution assumes without providing any facts that Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons. That is a non-starter. It should be rejected even on this point alone. The U.S. and all other nations should never base any momentous decisions upon unsubstantiated allegations. The burden of proof rests upon those making the allegations. If they are unable to substantiate their emphatic, unqualified accusations, they should be removed for unrepentantly bearing false witness.

Whereas Iran is a party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), has foresworn the acquisition of nuclear weapons by ratification of the NPT, and is legally bound to declare and place all its nuclear activity under constant monitoring by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA);

The Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) is voluntary. Iran can opt out any time it wants. Also, unless Misters Ackerman and Pence and all the cosponsors and cosigners of this Resolution are prepared to uphold all of the various international treaties, including those prohibiting crimes against humanity, genocide, torture (including waterboarding), and collective punishment, etc., they should not seek to pass resolutions based upon even substantiated violations of the NPT. To do otherwise, renders the sponsors and cosponsors and supporters pure hypocrites ripe for a severe rebuking by the spirit of God.

Whereas for nearly 20 years, in clear contravention of its explicit obligations under the NPT, Iran operated a covert nuclear program until it was revealed by an Iranian opposition group in 2002;

The NPT does not forbid nuclear energy development. Also, the opposition group that allegedly revealed Iran's nuclear-weapons development program is not credible. They are opportunist sucking up to the Anglo-American-Jewish Empire. That opposition group seeks to come into power in Iran. It is based upon a new religion under a cult of personality and itself has been labeled a terrorist group by the U.S. government.

You, Ackerman and Pence, are talking about the People's Mujahedin of Iran or MEK. Why didn't you name them in your Resolution? You didn't name them, because they were declared a terrorist group by the U.S.

Iran may have violated the terms of the NPT. However without proof, threats such as the ones figuring prominently in this specious Resolution constitute criminal assault and indicate quite clearly that Misters Ackerman and Pence and all the cosponsors and cosigners pose a real imminent, belligerent, aggressive threat to the people of the nation of Iran. The Resolution itself constitutes a violation of international law.

Whereas the IAEA has confirmed such illicit covert nuclear activities as the importation of uranium hexafluoride, construction of a uranium enrichment facility, experimentation with plutonium, importation of centrifuge technology, construction of centrifuges, and importation of designs to convert highly enriched uranium gas into metal and shape it into the core of a nuclear weapon;

The IAEA has not firmly established that Iran ever sought to develop nuclear weapons. The so-called evidence concerning Iran's intentions so far has come in the form of a laptop computer with schematics that certain parties within the intelligence community claim belonged to Iran. Of course, we know the history of how certain parties within the intelligence community have deliberately shaped intelligence around policy. One need only look at the Downing Street Memo(s) clearly to see that.

We also have the history of Donald Rumsfeld's Office of Special Plans that did nothing but twist and fabricate so-called intelligence. They ran with, and made up wholesale, the rawest of data. They glommed onto anything that even might hint at Saddam Hussein's weapons program that we all know was nonexistent.

We saw them use the Yellowcake Forgery in the State of the Union Address that was the tipping point in public opinion. The Forgery was known as such to Bush, but he used it anyway. For that, he should have been impeached and removed the moment it came out that he knowingly used a forgery in building a case against Saddam Hussein in the most important speech of Bush's administration. The same thing applies here with this Resolution. It has been put forth in the spirit of falsehood and deception.

Whereas Iran continues to expand the number of centrifuges at its enrichment facility, as made evident by its announced intention to begin installation of 6,000 advanced centrifuges to enrich uranium, in defiance of binding United Nations Security Council resolutions demanding Iran suspend enrichment activities;

The Security Council resolutions are based upon lies supplied by proven liars (U.S. neocons). The same people who lied about Iraq also have lied about Iran and for the exact same reasons.

Whereas the November 2007 National Intelligence Estimate reported that Iran was secretly working on the design and manufacture of a nuclear warhead until at least 2003, but that Iran could have enough highly enriched uranium for a nuclear weapon as soon as late 2009;

All National Intelligence Estimates (NIEs) since George W. Bush stole the 2000 presidential election have been thoroughly discredited or rendered highly suspect at best. The NIE comes out from the same intelligence community that is constantly being manipulated by neocons for purely evil purposes.

The NIE was written in a way to alter the public debate at the time. The neocons had been stating over and over that Iran was developing nuclear weapons all along from before 2003 right up to November of 2007 when the NIE came out. Well, where was the proof to backup the neocon claims. They never produced any. They had to back off. They had to stop making the claims. They had to change the subject — to create a new subject that just sounded like proof. That November 2007 NIE still didn't provide any proof. It was just a psychological ploy in an attempt to disarm the opposition to attacking Iran. It hasn't worked though.

We are still saying, "Where's the proof." When they claimed Iran was shipping IEDs to Iraq and that they had the proof, I said that any materials would have to be independently inspected. They withdrew their allegations.

Now they can't even steal Iranian weapons and plant them in Iraq and have that be enough evidence, because their testimony has been impeached over and over and over. They have zero credibility. No one in his or her right mind believes the Bush administration or the neocons or ever will.

Also, even if one were to accept their proof, they still illegally invaded and occupied Afghanistan and Iraq.

Furthermore, even if they had had mundanely legal cover, it wouldn't have been moral or righteous. Any way one looks at it, they are grievously sinning and unrepentant in spite of all the warnings they received and are still being given. How will they escape damnation, as Jesus still asks?

You will note that in all the years (and it has been years now) that the Bush administration has been making emphatic statements that Iran has been doing this or that, the administration has yet to produce one shred of evidence. I have been saying over and over, "where's the proof" and "prove it" concerning all of the neocons allegations. They have never done that and never will.

Understand that that laptop computer mentioned above has not been subjected to open investigation about its authenticity. There are many computer experts who have technological tools and test that could determine many things about the computer and its contents. Before the U.S. goes to war against Iran or blockades it physically or financially or both (which are overt acts of war — The U.S. would destroy any nation attempting to blockade the U.S. financially or otherwise) or supports Israel in doing either of those things to any degree, the American people need to demand proof unlike what it did concerning Iraq when the people obviously went along out of the reprehensible spirit of personal selfishness and gain albeit more ignorantly than would be the case now concerning Iran.

If the American people allow their chosen leadership (allowed leadership; tolerated leadership) to blockade Iran via financial sanctions or naval blockades or take any other hostile actions constituting acts of war, all I can say is woe to those Americans who will have done that, who will have supported it or acquiesced or remained silent, rather than speaking openly and firmly against it. There will be no excuse of "ignorance" concerning Iran.

Whereas an Iranian nuclear weapons capability would pose a grave threat to international peace and security by fundamentally altering and destabilizing the strategic balance in the Middle East, and severely undermining the global nonproliferation regime;

Where is the consistency? Pakistan, India, and Israel all developed nuclear-weapons capability. The nations that had them before the NPT haven't disarmed either.

Whereas Iran's overt sponsorship of several terrorist groups, including Hamas and Hezbollah, and its close ties to Syria raise the possibility that Iran would share its nuclear materials and technology with others;

You don't go to war under notions such as "raise the possibility." Just because something is possible in ones imagination is no standard for going to war. It is possible under such standards that Israel will just launch a nuclear first-strike against Iran. Under the low, low standards Misters Ackerman and Pence are attempting to establish here, one would be within his rights to destroy Israel right now just because it's possible that Israel would start a nuclear war based upon no more than its contrived paranoia.

The U.S. too could do a first strike against Russia or China. Russia has a huge arsenal still, and the U.S. still doesn't have the technology to stop thousands of warheads landing in the U.S. Should Russia launch now just because the U.S. possibly (no matter how remote that possibility) might do a first strike against Russia?

Why do we have such utter stupidity and insanity in the U.S. House of Representatives other than because the American people have been slipping further and further into the dark?

Also, one person's terrorist is another person's freedom fighter. Israel is in the occupied territories illegally. The U.S. has invaded and occupied Afghanistan and Iraq illegally.

The Taliban was prepared to turn over Osama bin Laden; however, that would have ruined Bush's and Cheney's and Rumsfeld' plans to divide, conquer, and rule the Middle East and to deny Russia, China, India, and Europe.

The Bush/Cheney regime lied to take the nations to war over Iraq. The weapons inspectors were doing their job and finding nothing. Bush even discussed creating a false-flag operation with Tony Blair whereby the U.S. would paint a fighter U.N. white and antagonize Saddam into shooting it down so Bush could then point to that as an excuse/pretext for starting the war.

How can anyone trust such a devious mind? How could anyone vote for such a devious-minded individual and his cohorts? How could anyone not want such a reckless, cold-blooded killer, liar impeached and removed post haste?

The Palestinian Crisis has been at the heart of all the problems in the area along with the struggle over oil resources that the Bush administration so clearly has coveted, despite George W. Bush's statements that he is a Christian. He is a liar. He is no Christian.

The Israelis who call themselves Zionists (a severe misnomer since Zion means peace for all) are bloodline nationalists. Their treatment of the Arabs who were living on the land called Palestine by the Roman Empire has been nothing but reprehensible. There is no excuse for it. The treatment of the Jews down through history does not excuse it. No decent-hearted Jew is for it.

Whereas Iran continues to develop ballistic missile technology and is pursuing the capability to field intercontinental ballistic missiles, a delivery system suited almost exclusively to nuclear weapons payloads;

"...almost exclusively" means that the authors of this Resolution admit that the missiles are not in and of themselves proof of any desire by Iran to have intercontinental ballistic missiles tipped with nuclear weapons. Nations cannot blockade or financially sanction each other based upon "almost." Neither does this "Whereas" constitute part of an overall case against Iran since none of the Whereas's stands up.

Whereas Iranian leaders have repeatedly called for the destruction of Israel, a major non-North Atlantic Treaty Organization ally, and a member of the United Nations;

The authors of this Resolution know full well that the statements made by Iranian leaders are contextual and have been subjected to the worst sort of translation and interpretation. The fact is though that it is Israeli leaders who have called for the destruction of Iran and done so in unambiguous language and in English so that the American people need no translator or interpreter.

Ahmadinejad did not say that he would wipe Israel off the map. He was quoting Khomeini saying that the Zionist Project would fail and fade from the scene, from the pages of time.

Iran has threatened Israel with a full retaliatory attack. It has not threatened a first strike. Israel however has repeatedly threatened a first strike, which is illegal under the mundane law since Israel has zero proof of Iranian plans to do a first strike against Israel. It is Israel and the U.S. that have the greater evil here.

Whereas the United States, Russia, China, France, the United Kingdom, and Germany have offered, and continue to offer, to negotiate a significant package of economic, diplomatic, and security incentives if Iran complies with the United Nations Security Council's resolutions demanding that Iran suspend uranium enrichment;

Whereas Iran has consistently refused such offers;

Iran has the right to reject bribes to give up nuclear energy.

Whereas as a result of Iran's failure to comply with the mandates of the United Nations Security Council, taken under Chapter VII of the United Nations' Charter, the international community has imposed limited sanctions over the past 2 years that have begun to have an impact on the Iranian economy;

Those sanctions are illegal since they were developed under false pretenses and without evidence to support them.

Whereas Iran's rapid development of its nuclear capabilities is outpacing the slow ratcheting up of economic and diplomatic sanctions;

Whereas Iran has used its banking system, including the Central Bank of Iran, to support its proliferation efforts and its assistance to terrorist groups, leading the Department of Treasury to designate 4 large Iranian banks proliferators and supporters of terrorism;

Prove it. You never prove anything. You just condemn whole nations, whole peoples (men, women, and children) without a shred of proof. You're evil. You're extremely dangerous men. I hate your terrible direction. You are leading the people into greater and greater apostasy. Your fruit is rotten.

Whereas Iran's support for Hezbollah has enabled that group to wage war against the Government and people of Lebanon, leading to its political domination of that country;

The so-called government of Lebanon has been propped up by the U.S. Hezbollah is very popular with the common people. It recently showed great restraint when that so-called government attempted to force Hezbollah to sever and give up its communication cables. Hezbollah could right now wipe out its opposition in Lebanon if that were its goal.

The Israelis attack on Lebanon was a huge war crime. The 4 million cluster bomblets that Israel dropped on Lebanon just prior to the ceasefire demonstrates the hard-heartedness, sin, evil in the hearts of the Israeli leadership. Where is the outrage by Misters Ackerman and Pence concerning that huge crime against many wholly innocent farmers and children? You won't find it, because they are one-sided and apply nothing but double standards (hypocrisy).

Whereas Iran's support for Hamas has enabled it to illegally seize control of Gaza from the Palestinian Authority, and to continuously bombard Israeli civilians with rockets and mortars;

Hamas is the duly elected government. The U.S. colluded with the failing remnant of the PLO to seize control undemocratically. The Israelis were alarmed when Hamas and the more secular Palestinian Authority (PA; Fatah) were working out leadership issues without resorting to violence. The U.S. and Israel then did everything it could to precipitate hostilities between Hamas and the Palestinian Authority. They bribed the PA with money and weapons. They clamped down on Hamas and Gaza with an evil iron fist.

The U.S. administration demands fake democracy. When the people voted in free, fair, and open elections that pass higher standards than those set in the U.S., the Bush administration refused to accept the outcome. Shame on them. Shame on the neocons.

Also, you speak about Hamas bombarding Israeli civilians with rockets and mortars, which they should not do. However, you ignore everything that Israel has done to earn the animosity of the Gazans. Israelis stole the land belonging to many of the families of the people now crowded into Gaza. Israeli so-called defense forces routinely brutalize the Palestinians and otherwise humiliate and antagonize them to set up pretexts for further transfer (ethnic cleansing) and ruination of the Palestinian Arabs and Christians.

There are right now some 10,000-plus Palestinians in Israeli prisons who have been held without any due process of law. Gaza is routinely bombed by Israel. They are cutoff, surrounded, walled in, and walled out. The whole of the occupied territories is a spider web of Israeli-only roads and so-called settlements — all of the land stolen regardless of U.N. resolutions. Their homes and businesses and olive groves are routinely bulldozed. Their children are constantly being bombed and shot to death.

Your Resolution ignores all of that though.

Whereas Iran continues to provide training, weapons, and financial assistance to Shi'a militants inside of Iraq and antigovernment warlords in Afghanistan;

Prove it. Regardless, if the U.S. illegally invaded Iraq, which it did, and illegally still occupies Iraq, which it does, then how is any Iranian support illegal?

As for Afghanistan, it is the U.S. that props up warlords and drug lords. The poppy production for heroin destined for Europe and elsewhere via mainly Turkey, was on the down cline until the U.S. invaded. Now it is way, way up. That's because so many Americans make so much money off the heroin trade. The banks make huge sums via money laundering. The intelligence and military make huge sums to help fund more of their piracy.

Whereas those Shi'a militant groups and Afghan warlords use Iranian training, weapons, and financing to attack American and allied forces trying to support the legitimate Governments of Iraq and Afghanistan;

Prove it. Where's the proof. All we have here in this Resolution are Big Lies. Just say them over and over and the people will just go along and accept them as facts. It isn't working. You're losing.

Also, the current government is not legitimate. The U.S. illegally invaded. Once in, the Iraqi people drafted a Constitution that the U.S. dictator, Paul Bremer (an infamous Henry Kissinger protégé), rejected. Bremer set about ruling by decree that Iraq would become a laissez faire, neoliberal economy wide open to foreign corporate takeover against the desires of the Iraqi people. There were no democratic referenda concerning these things. The current Constitution was rammed down their throats.

Look at the no-bid contracts possibly about to be awarded to U.S. oil companies. It's just theft on the largest scale Bush can get away with.

Whereas Iran is further destabilizing the Middle East by underwriting a massive rearmament campaign by Syria;

Prove it. Put up or shut up, Ackerman and Pence. You can't. You have no proof. You are knowingly bearing false witness. That's a sin.

Besides, all arms are evil. Israel and the U.S. have used their arms to no good end. Arms are an evil means to an evil end.

Whereas through these efforts, Iran seeks to establish regional hegemony, threatens longstanding friends and allies of the United States in the Middle East, and endangers vital American national security interests; and

Iran had a duly elected government that came to power and decided that the British would no longer dominate Iranian oil. The Eisenhower administration of the U.S. illegally overthrew the duly elected leader of Iran, Mohammed Mosaddeq, and install the brutal dictator, the Shah (Reza Shah Pahlavi). The Iranians under exiled leader Ayatollah Khomeini, rose up and overthrew the U.S.-backed dictator. Certain parties in the U.S. have been wanting to get Iran back under the thumb of the Empire. They want Iran's mineral resources, etc. It's all a matter of greed and covetousness: Deadly sin.

As for longstanding friends and allies, those friends and allies are for the most part undemocratic, dictatorial regimes. Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Jordan, and on and on, are not democratic, far from it. Israel is disgusting in its treatment of Palestinians and has burned both ends of the candle. It has cozied up to the U.S. but also bled it in large part.

Whereas nothing in this resolution shall be construed as an authorization of the use of force against Iran: Now, therefore, be it

How ridiculous. In order to blockade a nation or place economic restrictions upon it of the kind called for in this Resolution, force would be required if the target nation didn't just rollover.

Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That Congress—
(1) declares that preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapons capability, through all appropriate economic, political, and diplomatic means, is vital to the national security interests of the United States and must be dealt with urgently;
(2) urges the President, in the strongest of terms, to immediately use his existing authority to impose sanctions on—
(A) the Central Bank of Iran and any other Iranian bank engaged in proliferation activities or the support of terrorist groups;

This requires proof on its face.

(B) international banks which continue to conduct financial transactions with proscribed Iranian banks;
(C) energy companies that have invested $20,000,000 or more in the Iranian petroleum or natural gas sector in any given year since the enactment of the Iran Sanctions Act of 1996; and
(D) all companies which continue to do business with Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps;
(3) demands that the President initiate an international effort to immediately and dramatically increase the economic, political, and diplomatic pressure on Iran to verifiably suspend its nuclear enrichment activities by, inter alia, prohibiting the export to Iran of all refined petroleum products; imposing stringent inspection requirements on all persons, vehicles, ships, planes, trains, and cargo entering or departing Iran; and prohibiting the international movement of all Iranian officials not involved in negotiating the suspension of Iran's nuclear program; and

That would constitute a conspiracy to deprive the Iranian people the right to an international livelihood based upon purely unsubstantiated allegations. Only monstrously immoral people would do such a thing. It is a plan designed to starve the Iranians into submission to the greed and covetousness of the Empire.

(4) urges the President to lead a sustained, serious, and forceful effort at regional diplomacy to support the legitimate governments in the region against Iranian efforts to destabilize them, to reassure our friends and allies that the United States supports them in their resistance to Iranian efforts at hegemony, and to make clear to the Government of Iran that the United States will protect America's vital national security interests in the Middle East.

Here again, "legitimate" is undefined or simply defined as those rulers the neocons support by reason that those rulers are compliant with the authentic hegemony of the Empire over the needs of the common people of the applicable nations.

It is the Empire that is hegemonic. Iran doesn't dominate any other nation. It doesn't talk as if it wants to. It doesn't act in a way that demonstrates that that is its general desire.

Remember, if it had not been for the greedy and covetous U.S. oil companies and Empire, Iran probably would have been a secular, social democracy for the last fifty-five years come August 19, 2008.

This Resolution is garbage. The authors ought to be embarrassed putting forth such a worthless piece of junk. Anyone who signs onto this dung should be removed from office. The people should stop tolerating all these liars.

Why are the standards so stinking low? Where is the morality? There is zero righteousness reflected in this abominable Resolution. I denounce it. God hates it. The Heavenly Host is watching. You are warned.

The prophecy says that all who game the system as this Resolution clearly attempts to do will fall and fall hard whether in this life or by their death to come. Repent of it while you still have time. Your life may be required of you when you least expect it. It comes as the thief in the night.

The following should appear at the end of every post:

According to the IRS, "Know the law: Avoid political campaign intervention":

Tax-exempt section 501(c)(3) organizations like churches, universities, and hospitals must follow the law regarding political campaigns. Unfortunately, some don't know the law.

Under the Internal Revenue Code, all section 501(c)(3) organizations are prohibited from participating in any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office. The prohibition applies to campaigns at the federal, state and local level.

Violation of this prohibition may result in denial or revocation of tax-exempt status and the imposition of certain excise taxes. Section 501(c)(3) private foundations are subject to additional restrictions.

Political Campaign Intervention

Political campaign intervention includes any activities that favor or oppose one or more candidates for public office. The prohibition extends beyond candidate endorsements.

Contributions to political campaign funds, public statements of support or opposition (verbal or written) made by or on behalf of an organization, and the distribution of materials prepared by others that support or oppose any candidate for public office all violate the prohibition on political campaign intervention.

Factors in determining whether a communication results in political campaign intervention include the following:

  • Whether the statement identifies one or more candidates for a given public office
  • Whether the statement expresses approval or disapproval of one or more candidates' positions and/or actions
  • Whether the statement is delivered close in time to the election
  • Whether the statement makes reference to voting or an election
  • Whether the issue addressed distinguishes candidates for a given office

Many religious organizations believe, as we do, that the above constitutes a violation of the First Amendment of the US Constitution.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

That said, we make the following absolutely clear here:

  • The Real Liberal Christian Church and Christian Commons Project not only do not endorse any candidate for any secular office, we say that Christianity forbids voting in such elections.
  • Furthermore, when we discuss any public-office holder's position, policy, action or inaction, we definitely are not encouraging anyone to vote for that office holder's position.
  • We are not trying to influence secular elections but rather want people to come out from that entire fallen system.
  • When we analyze or discuss what is termed "public policy," we do it entirely from a theological standpoint with an eye to educating professing Christians and those to whom we are openly always proselytizing to convert to authentic Christianity.
  • It is impossible for us to fully evangelize and proselytize without directly discussing the pros and cons of public policy and the positions of secular-office holders, hence the unconstitutionality of the IRS code on the matter.
  • We are not rich and wouldn't be looking for a fight regardless. What we cannot do is compromise our faith (which seeks to harm nobody, quite the contrary).
  • We render unto Caesar what is Caesar's. We render unto God what is God's.
  • When Caesar says to us that unless we shut up about the unrighteousness of Caesar's policies and practices, we will lose the ability of people who donate to us to declare their donations as deductions on their federal and state income-tax returns, we say to Caesar that we cannot shut up while exercising our religion in a very reasonable way.
  • We consider the IRS code on this matter as deliberate economic duress (a form of coercion) and a direct attempt by the federal government to censor dissenting, free political and religious speech.
  • It's not freedom of religion if they tax it.

And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute? He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers? Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free. (Matthew 17:24-26)

      House Resoluton 362 is wrong.

      Why should we oppose Iran obtaining nuclear weapons?

      Why should we oppose any nation obtaining nuclear weapons?

      Not only is it a violation of those nations right to develop their military,,, it is futile to do so.

      Stopping the spread of Nuclear Weapons is like stopping the spread of any technology.The Internet is a good example. Sooner or later everyone is going to have access. This is a good thing. This is progress.

      Mutually assured destruction kept the peace between the United States and the Soviet Union for decades. Mutually assured destruction made war obsolete because it made war unthinkable.

      In the future, any conflict, anywhere on Earth will be able to become a nuclear inferno. Humanity will have no choice but to work towards peaceful compromise on every issue. Reason shall prevail as it has always done.

      Imagine how much safer and peaceful our world shall become once everyone who wants an atomic bomb is able to have one.

    • Hello Thinking Dove,

      The whole planet needs to disarm. That's the way of the dove.

      Mutually assured destruction (MAD) isn't working regarding nuclear weapons. Herman Kahn was a neocon who advocated for the use of nuclear weapons and said nuclear war is winnable. He was insane of course.

      Nuclear weapons also come in a tactical variety. Many neocons are eager to use them.

      No one has the divine right to have weapons. The doves know though that coercion is not the way to salvation, not the way to peace.

      Certain Israelis and the neocons in the U.S. don't understand this. It's beyond their emotions and spirits and souls.

      The world will never be safe and peaceful until no one wants or has any weapons of war.
