Just subscribed through your RSS. God Bless you brother!

      Hey Mikes,

I was thinking about you yesterday while I was over on BlogCatalog. I see that you are indicated as a friend by http://www.blogcatalog.com/use.....r/runu. I didn't check to see if it's reciprocal. When she "friended" me, I went to look at her profile and blog(s), as is my custom (not unusual for members to do that I trust). While on her profile, I saw that one of the people she had also friended was using an avatar wherein he or someone is giving the middle finger to the world. I sent a private "shout" (ironic terminology, isn't it) to her letting her know that I am not interested in networking with such (it's beyond the pale). I try to be as flexible as possible as rigidity can snap. I've been enough of the broken reed already. You understand. Well, she didn't remove me as an indicated friend or write a retraction of her favorable comment on the RLCC's blog profile on BlogCatalog. However, she also did not remove the finger-giver but did delete my messages. I thought that perhaps she hadn't understood. When I attempted to clarify, I discovered that she had turned on blocking of messages from me – very strange behavior.

So, while we show up on people's profiles, it does not mean that we have consented to the arrangement. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it but just thought I might say something now to you since you're on her profile page too. The finger-giver she did move to her second page. Perhaps she was afraid of disturbing him by deleting him. Of course, there is a setting for doing that without notifying the one removed. She might not know that.

Well, thanks for subscribing. I don't market subscribing anymore but it's certainly there for people. I will say that I'm in the habit of editing published posts. I'm assuming the rss goes by original publish date and time and doesn't feed out every revision. Also, the feed is only in excerpt form because the various networking sites (BlogCatalog included) have commented that loading speed and size is an issue (major issue). Feeds that feed out 50 full posts with images just aren't going to make it with all the sites that repost just titles and summaries.

Come and visit again Mikes. Feel free to leave comments and questions. I know your theology is in the developmental stages, as we all must continually learn. I know I learn daily, even from moment-to-moment.

Peace, Love, and Truth to You, Brother,

      Tom Usher

I didn't see this response and I'm glad that you did reply to my comment. Let me check that friend and see.

    God bless you Tom!
