Now, Osama bin Laden is on the FBI 10 Most Wanted List. I had read that the FBI director had been asked why Osama bin Laden isn't on the list. Perhaps he was on the list at the time but not for 9/11. He reportedly replied that there isn't evidence (enough? hard?) linking Osama to 9/11.
There were recent news reports about Osama bin Laden that again claim Osama confessed to the 9/11 attacks in an October 2004 video. I had also read that it was determined that that tape was not genuine and that Osama had another time denied involvement in 9/11. This becomes seemingly deliberately confused.
Anyway, now the story is that the October 2004 tape is real according to U.S. intelligence. However, U.S. intelligence is in the business of doing what ever the U.S. president wants done. They create propaganda, etc., to fool people. How can they now be trusted not to have fabricated the tape? They have no credibility.
As of the date of this post, the FBIsays the following:
USAMA BIN LADEN IS WANTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE AUGUST 7, 1998, BOMBINGS OF THE UNITED STATES EMBASSIES IN DAR ES SALAAM, TANZANIA, AND NAIROBI, KENYA. THESE ATTACKS KILLED OVER 200 PEOPLE. IN ADDITION, BIN LADEN IS A SUSPECT IN OTHER TERRORIST ATTACKS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.
Why doesn't it say 9/11 if the tape is real? The FBI doesn't take the CIA's word for it. Why then is the mainstream media saying the tape is real as a foregone conclusion? Why aren't they always qualifying about the tape with words such as "alleged"?
This is all very shoddy. It reflects very poorly on the government and mainstream U.S. journalism. It's all highly unprofessional.
