Jesus doesn't follow Caesar. He also doesn't sit in the Sanhedrin. Barack Obama is the President-elect of the worldly Empire. He's been elected as Caesar for a while.
If you want to know what Rick Warren has done to religion, just read about Peter Drucker. Warren is a businessman. He has applied Drucker's "management by objectives" to what Warren wants to promote as evangelizing Christianity. Mostly, he has applied consumer research to marketing his church. He gives them what they want, not what they need. He's a man of commerce in mammon. He's a capitalist. Jesus is not.
There is definitely a separation of Christianity from the secular state and capitalism. If you want false-Christian preachers out of secular government, then start spreading the truth about that for which Jesus Christ stands. Jesus isn't for the coercive secular state. He's for the non-coercive convicted conscience within. Non-coercion and the U.S. Constitution are mutually exclusive. Christianity is not on the unenlightened, fatally flawed, failing level of the U.S. Constitution and the U.S. capitalist/mixed-economy system.
