It is interesting to note that in Europe, where healthcare is publicly funded, they are more regulated in terms of general-environmental pollution and also in keeping toxics out of consumer products. It is noteworthy that those regulations have actually encouraged economic development rather than have a stifling impact, contrary to the suggestion by capitalists in the U.S. that such regulation would be deleterious to the U.S. economy. The capitalists have no supporting evidence for their claim. They only have their greedy, selfish, evil desires regardless of the negative consequences for everyone.
