"Facebook removes Haniyeh fan site: 'Friends' of Hamas prime minister enraged, Al-Hayat reports site is 'under pressure from Israel, US'," by Roee Nahmias. (Ynetnews. July 26, 2009.) "The operators of the internet site Facebook have recently removed a webpage dedicated to fans of Hamas' prime minister in Gaza, Ismail Haniyeh, the London-based Al-Hayat reported Sunday."
I've also read the Jewish Internet Defense Force site's bragging about pounding on Facebook for the sake of supporting Israel's policies and practices. Facebook appears to be caving in. Operation Cast Lead was a war crime through-and-through, but Hamas is to be censored on Facebook under what kind and level of threats and intimidation tactics by the Jewish Internet Defense Force and others; or is Facebook just going along simply by being asked without any threats to pull advertising dollars, etc.?
I'm not for Hamas using violence. I'm not for Israel using it either though. Censor one. Then censor both.
