"For nearly 30 years, India and Bangladesh have argued over control of a tiny rock island in the Bay of Bengal. Now rising sea levels have resolved the dispute for them: the island's gone." It didn't disappear because the sea bottom went down but rather the sea-level went up. It went up because ice is melting more than it is freezing. That's happening because Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) is real. The rate of warming is not fully explained by the Sun absent anthropogenic CO2 increases due to humanity burning a high rate of carbon-based fuels.
