Homosex: Who was ready to receive the liberty of self-discipline? Who's ready now?

If one is going to look for contradictions in the Bible as confirmation that homosex is not sin, then consider the obvious, which is that anyone can find contradictions on certain levels, that is to say from within narrowly defined contexts. It's an easy thing to do. You can do it in a flash. Moses stoning versus Jesus moving souls to seeing their hypocrisy is a prime case in point and perfect example of why we have a New Testament. However, that case in point is no condemnation of scripture or of Moses in general for the bigger-picture/larger-context reason that Jesus also pointed out that it was due to the hardness of people's hearts that Moses laid down the law against libertinism. Who was ready to receive the liberty of self-discipline? Who's ready now?
