Tom Usher wrote or added | It's disingenuous to compare the suicide rate on one hand of people who have jobs at a facility that is characterized as being pretty nice for a factory, with restaurants, a pool, and etc., as Steve Jobs has done here, with on the other hand, the general US population, which includes people who have been out of work for months and even years and whose benefits are running out or already have. That's just for starters. If he wants to compare the suicide rate more fairly, let him compare the rate against Americans working at a "pretty nice factory." Then we'd be able to discern more about just how sweatshop-like the Foxconn factory might be.
