Why We Should Be Jealous of the EU's Organic Labels | Sustainable Food | Change.org

Tom Usher wrote or added | I agree with this article. I would like to know which farm and where produced what.

The organics standards are too low on account of non-organic types wanting to break into the market without being as true to the spirit of organics as possible. Those people should not ruin organics that way.

If the government wants to create a tiered structure where at least the highest rated organic certification would mean exactly what the founders of the organic movement had in mind, then that would be enough to satisfy me as long as the non-purists don't pollute things.

Perhaps by insisting on that, we'd all have the highest rated organics regardless. Well, you know that's what I have in mind of course. I'm not being tricky here. I simply want what I want.
