Addiction a Brain Disorder, Not Just Bad Behavior [what?] - ABC News

The frontal cortex helps put the brakes on unhealthy behaviors, Volkow explains. Its where the brains reasoning side connects to emotion-related areas. Its among the last neural regions to mature, one reason that its harder for a teenager to withstand peer pressure to experiment with drugs.
And while most of the neuroscience centers on drug and alcohol addiction, the society notes that it's possible to become addicted to gambling, sex or food although there's no good data on how often that happens. It's time for better study to find out, Miller says.

Oh, there's definitely sexual addiction, including homosexual sexual-addiction. As for the title of the article, bad behavior and brain disorders are one and the same. The worse the behavior and the longer it goes on, the worse the brain disorder is getting. It's a vicious cycle.

One thing I can say is that if there's a relapse, don't give up.
