We can't leave things the way they are with the mega-banks via the Fed ruling the Earth. It's not good for anyone, not even the superrich banksters.
Publicly owned banking is definitely an improvement over what we have. It's not the end-all, be-all; but if coupled with other steps (such as United States Notes and an enhanced and improved NEED Act), it can do a great deal to start alleviating needless misery and to turn things completely around from the current creed of greed of the ostensible laissez-faire (free-market), global corporatist-capitalists (crony monopolists).
