The only thing I would have added are some examples of the actual despicable things the CIA did in Iran to overthrow Mohammad Mosaddegh.

When the Hostage Crisis was going on, I wrote a letter to the editor of the Arizona Republic. They sandwiched it between two others and claimed it was in defense of Ramsey Clark, which it was not, but they could claim they inferred it. I did support him, but that's not what I was writing. Plus, they censored where I said the CIA had trained SAVAK, which by the way, Bill Moyers had reported openly and probably paid a heavy price for it in the mainstream. He seemed to disappear quite a bit after that if memory serves. It's clear that he was deliberately marginalized by the Zionists and Imperialists/Neocons, etc.

I was a bit green back then and said Truman rather than Eisenhower. Also, I was not advocating for an Islamic theocracy, of course, or being naive about it. Iran wouldn't have had an Islamic theocracy if the US hadn't ruined Mosaddegh's totally appropriate actions.
