Conspiracies: All, Nothing, and Lumping

Are there conspiracies? As far as I'm concerned, anyone who dismisses all conspiracies is severely mistaken. Nevertheless, there are those who while they don't say they dismiss all conspiracies, do try to suggest to others that to accept any is necessarily to be an idiot.

Here are the Public Policy Polling questions (PDF) that touched off Kurt Eichenwald, (The Creeping Danger of Conspiracy Theorists | Vanity Fair, article linked to above):

Q1 Do you believe global warming is a hoax, or not?

Q2 Do you believe Osama bin Laden is still alive, or not?

Q3 Do you believe a UFO crashed at Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947, and the US government covered it up, or not?

Q4 Do you believe that a secretive power elite with a globalist agenda is conspiring to eventually rule the world through an authoritarian world government, or New World Order, or not?

Q5 Do you believe Saddam Hussein was involved in the September 11th, 2001, attacks on America, or not?

Q6 Do you believe there is a link between childhood vaccines and autism, or not?

Q7 Do you believe the moon landing was faked, or not?

Q8 Do you believe President Barack Obama is the anti-Christ, or not?

Q9 Do you believe the Bush administration intentionally misled the public about the possibility of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq to promote the Iraq War, or not?

Q10 Do you believe aliens exist, or not?

Q11 Do you believe the CIA was instrumental in distributing crack cocaine into America's inner cities in the 1980s, or not?

Q12 Do you believe the government adds fluoride to our water supply, not for dental health reasons, but for other, more sinister reasons, or not?

Q13 Do you believe that shape-shifting reptilian people control our world by taking on human form and gaining political power to manipulate our societies, or not?

Q14 Do you believe that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in killing President Kennedy, or was there some larger conspiracy at work?

Q15 Do you believe in Bigfoot or Sasquatch, or not?

Q16 Do you believe media or the government adds secret mind-controlling technology to television broadcast signals, or not?

Q17 Do you believe that the exhaust seen in the sky behind airplanes is actually chemicals sprayed by the government for sinister reasons, or not?

Q18 Do you believe that the pharmaceutical industry is in league with the medical industry to "invent" new diseases in order to make money, or not?

Q19 Do you believe Paul McCartney actually died in a car crash in 1966 and was secretly replaced by a lookalike so The Beatles could continue, or not?

Q20 Do you believe the United States government knowingly allowed the attacks on September 11th, 2001, to happen, or not?

Q21 In the last presidential election, did you vote for Barack Obama or Mitt Romney?

Q22 Would you describe yourself as very liberal, somewhat liberal, moderate, somewhat conservative, or very conservative?

Q23 If you are a woman, press 1. If a man, press 2.

Q24 If you are a Democrat, press 1. If a Republican, press 2. If you are an independent or identify with another party, press 3.

Q25 If you are Hispanic, press 1. If white, press 2. If African-American, press 3. If other, press 4.

Q26 If you are 18 to 29 years old, press 1. If 30 to 45, press 2. If 46 to 65, press 3. If you are older than 65, press 4.

Then, I received an invitation from Nafeez Ahmed, who happens to be a 9/11 Truther (or was the last I knew of it). Nafeez wants to create a website that will "expose hate speech by people of influence." I was wondering what constitutes "hate speech" in Nafeez's view. I noticed he included an image of someone from Westboro Baptist Church of "God Hates Fags" fame. What about homosexuality?

Henry Makow appears to be one who believes in the Illuminati and that it is a secret cabal with designs of totalitarian world domination. He is also highly concerned about those who seek to normalize pedophilia. He does have a number of factual reasons to have that concern.

Also, the questions above include "Q13 Do you believe that shape-shifting reptilian people control our world by taking on human form and gaining political power to manipulate our societies, or not?" That happens to come directly as a result of one David Icke. I am of the view that David Icke got that idea by taking Biblical references concerning dragons, serpents, vipers, etc., literally. David echoes a long historical line of people who refer to "bloodlines" -- Satanic-dominated families that pass down the evil via some means that many people take as genetic. This spills over into Gnosticism (that all flesh is inherently evil) in a large way, so I'll not go into the details, as doing so would make this post extremely long. David Icke also shows major concerns about pedophilia and conspiracies of silence, conspiracies to cover up huge evil in so-called high places.

Obviously, there's something there. There's some level of cover-up.

Then, I happened to see this video: Fire engulfs skyscraper in Chechnya. It put me in mind of WTC Bldg 7:

No cover-up? No conspiracy? Get real, Kurt Eichenwald. Honestly, who's being the idiot — useful idiot?

Look, I entitled this post "Conspiracy: All or Nothing and Lumping" because some people work overtime to make people falsely believe that one believes in no conspiracies, rendering that one sane, or one believes in any conspiracy to any degree, rendering that one an idiot and lumping that one in with agreeing with all conspiracy theories. It's a cheap, stupid, psychological ploy for which you ought not fall.

The fact is that you have the right to, and should, pick and choose what you believe at any given time concerning evidence and seeming evidence about any individual conspiracy. You are not insane or an idiot if you believe that there are conspiracies. There are conspiracies.

I don't have to agree with David Icke about "literal" shape-shifters to agree with him that there's been a massive pedophile cover-up that's gone on in Scotland, the UK, and the US, etc. Exactly where the facts start and stop remains to be seen, but that's the point of all the cover-ups.

The conspirators behind the cover-ups want to keep everyone in the dark about where the facts start and stop. They want to retain the impunity of those placed in strategic positions to protect the secret-in-plain-sight global cabal that is the plutocracy striving and striving for totalitarian, generational, even genetic control of the world and then universe, existence itself. Is it Satanic? Of course. That's what Satanic means.

Will they succeed? No.

Are there people right around them who are duped into falsely believing that the evil conspirators are doing nothing wrong? Yes.

Will the truth about all of this come completely out one day? Yes.

How do I know? Jesus is how I know.

For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad. If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath. And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come. And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it. (Mark 4:22-32)

The following should appear at the end of every post:

According to the IRS, "Know the law: Avoid political campaign intervention":

Tax-exempt section 501(c)(3) organizations like churches, universities, and hospitals must follow the law regarding political campaigns. Unfortunately, some don't know the law.

Under the Internal Revenue Code, all section 501(c)(3) organizations are prohibited from participating in any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office. The prohibition applies to campaigns at the federal, state and local level.

Violation of this prohibition may result in denial or revocation of tax-exempt status and the imposition of certain excise taxes. Section 501(c)(3) private foundations are subject to additional restrictions.

Political Campaign Intervention

Political campaign intervention includes any activities that favor or oppose one or more candidates for public office. The prohibition extends beyond candidate endorsements.

Contributions to political campaign funds, public statements of support or opposition (verbal or written) made by or on behalf of an organization, and the distribution of materials prepared by others that support or oppose any candidate for public office all violate the prohibition on political campaign intervention.

Factors in determining whether a communication results in political campaign intervention include the following:

  • Whether the statement identifies one or more candidates for a given public office
  • Whether the statement expresses approval or disapproval of one or more candidates' positions and/or actions
  • Whether the statement is delivered close in time to the election
  • Whether the statement makes reference to voting or an election
  • Whether the issue addressed distinguishes candidates for a given office

Many religious organizations believe, as we do, that the above constitutes a violation of the First Amendment of the US Constitution.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

That said, we make the following absolutely clear here:

  • The Real Liberal Christian Church and Christian Commons Project not only do not endorse any candidate for any secular office, we say that Christianity forbids voting in such elections.
  • Furthermore, when we discuss any public-office holder's position, policy, action or inaction, we definitely are not encouraging anyone to vote for that office holder's position.
  • We are not trying to influence secular elections but rather want people to come out from that entire fallen system.
  • When we analyze or discuss what is termed "public policy," we do it entirely from a theological standpoint with an eye to educating professing Christians and those to whom we are openly always proselytizing to convert to authentic Christianity.
  • It is impossible for us to fully evangelize and proselytize without directly discussing the pros and cons of public policy and the positions of secular-office holders, hence the unconstitutionality of the IRS code on the matter.
  • We are not rich and wouldn't be looking for a fight regardless. What we cannot do is compromise our faith (which seeks to harm nobody, quite the contrary).
  • We render unto Caesar what is Caesar's. We render unto God what is God's.
  • When Caesar says to us that unless we shut up about the unrighteousness of Caesar's policies and practices, we will lose the ability of people who donate to us to declare their donations as deductions on their federal and state income-tax returns, we say to Caesar that we cannot shut up while exercising our religion in a very reasonable way.
  • We consider the IRS code on this matter as deliberate economic duress (a form of coercion) and a direct attempt by the federal government to censor dissenting, free political and religious speech.
  • It's not freedom of religion if they tax it.

And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute? He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers? Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free. (Matthew 17:24-26)
