Pope Francis has what the Roman Catholic Church thinks is a carefully crafted public-relations campaign going on about homosexual marriage.
What he's doing is dodging the issue as long as possible so his church may have a foot in each camp.
He says, "When a man and a woman celebrate the sacrament of marriage, God is reflected in them." "As 'one flesh', they become living icons of God's love in our world, building up the Church in unity and fidelity." "The image of God is the married couple — not just the man, not just the woman, but both."
Okay, so where are the journalists putting him on the spot (where he needs to be) asking him if homosexual marriage reflects God in those homosexuals? Do homosexuals become "one flesh"? Are they "icons of God's love in our world, building up the Church in unity and fidelity"?
I've repeatedly raised this issue of the mass, mainstream, corporate media aiding and abetting this Pope in ducking the issues, but my blog is marginalized by them on purpose. Unless you are in my "circles" and not blocking me, you will be hard pressed to find this criticism in the mainstream, if at all.
What's going on is evil (dancing around the heart and truth of the issues involved), and Pope Francis is right at the center of it, in fact, orchestrating it.
He had also said that atheists of good consciences will gain Heaven, which is diametrically opposed to Jesus Christ's direct teachings on the matter.
This Pope is making it up as he goes along rather than leading people to the real Jesus.
Naming yourself Francis, speaking for the poor, and wading into crowds isn't going to mask the darkness.
"For there will rise up false Christs and false prophets: and they shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce (if it were possible) even the elect." — Jesus Christ (Mark 13:22 DRB)
