"America is one-dollar-one-vote, not one-person-one vote" is the argument I've been making for years. It's nice to know I'm not alone in knowing that the US is a fake democracy, just like it's mainstream news is fundamentally fake.
Eric Zuesse has done a nice job of spelling out the basics here.
Eric says aristocracy (or oligarchy). I typically call the US government a plutocracy. Oligarchy is family ruled. Plutocrats are individuals who rule. Their families typically benefit hugely, and plutocrats do tend to hand off power to the next in line offspring; however, family power often wains after a few generations, as it's diluted. The only exception to that concerns the elite banking families that don't reveal their hidden wealth to anyone on the outside of their closest inner-circle.
When you hear "Russia, Russia, Russia" from the mainstream media, keep all of this in mind, as the plutocrats' minions are hard at work trying to dupe you. That's what they get paid for, and the vast majority of them know it full well. There isn't anyone who lasts long in that industry after having risen in it much at all who isn't a complete sellout (or moron).
