State intervention in markets and industry is the opposite of unfair

Anyone who knows me knows I'm no fan of Xi or China's dictatorship, but the following is crap:

Washington accuses Beijing of a host of alleged unfair trading practices, including massive state intervention in markets and industry and the theft of American technological know-how.

State intervention in markets and industry is the opposite of unfair. In fact, a total democracy would be nothing but state industry. The People would own everything together; and, together, the People would be the state. The People would vote on all things economic and financial from the bottom up. That would be the fairest thing that's ever existed.
