Resource nationalism risk [?] on the rise, says Verisk Maplecroft index

Look at the title of this post again. Resource nationalism is a risk to whom? Who owns the mineral rights under the United States, under your property? If you own a farm or ranch with oil of gas under it, companies have to ask for your permission to drill for it. Which owners allow it without payment the owner thinks is fair?

The people of many other nations haven't had such arrangements. They have simply had the resources of their nations confiscated by imperial powers.

Imperialism was the risk to them. Sellout politicians taking bribes and kickbacks still is.

Resource nationalism risk on the rise, says Verisk Maplecroft index
