For most people, we suggest they save the work to their computer desktop for easy access. If you just choose to open (rather than save first), you may lose the download when you close your browser. This depends upon your cache settings.

Why PDF?
  • PDF renders fonts without users having to download and install fonts on their computers. There is some Greek and Hebrew in the work.
  • PDF retains all the word-processing formatting, the Table of Contents, the Index, the footnotes, etc.
  • It makes printouts much easier and cleaner. You may print the whole book and put it in binders for reference or to give to those without computers or Internet.
  • PDF is browser and operating-system independent.
  • It allows the reader to read offline more easily. For people with Internet connections where they pay according to the time they are online, that saves them.
  • It may take a long time to download using a narrow bandwidth modem, but once that's done, the reader can go offline and still read the work.
  • It's also a convenience for those who have only one phone line that becomes tied up by Internet access.
  • It allows people to more easily copy the work to CD's and DVD's.
  • Also, once downloaded, it frees up bandwidth on our site, thereby, saving the Church in the long run.
