IMPROVING THE BLOG, INCREASING TRAFFIC, MONETIZING AND MORE, ALL FOR THE COMMONS
Let the News Fly By
I've let the news fly by. It isn't necessary for me to comment on every twist and turn of presidential and vice presidential electioneering. The only reason to comment at all is to point out just how wrong the whole system is, how irreparable it is. There just is no fixing it. It's the old wineskin that cannot hold the new spirit that is required to save the world from the evil that human beings have fallen to.I'm going to focus on playing a bit of catch up for the rest of the night and then focus tomorrow on earning money for the cause: The Christian Commons Project™.
Monetize This Blog
I've been thinking about that more and more over the last several days. Everywhere I've gone on the Internet in working on tech issues and traffic issues, etc., has pointed to the fact that people are preoccupied with earning money for self. Well, I'm going to earn money for the other(s). I've decided to monetize the effort while having all the proceeds go to the cause. Therefore, there are going to be more and more earning avenues opening up on this site as time goes by. If you have any expertise in monetizing a blog and want to have a hand in this worthy cause, don't hesitate to chime in.There was a time when I was being rather self-conscious about coming off as that from which I want to see the world moving away. I mean I was concerned about people picking on earning money for the Church and the Commons, as if that is somehow indefensible. The issue though is whether or not the Church is a capitalist enterprise. Can the Church earn money that it pours into the Commons without being hypocritical? Can I handle false charges? The answers are that the Church can earn that money and convert it to the cause and I can handle the charges and will, if and when they arise. I'm not going to worry that many people just won't take the time or make the effort to comprehend how funding the Commons out of money that comes out from capitalism is capitalism's demise. To me, it's obvious.
We can't use coercion to end capitalism and expect to end up in a peaceful society. We can though approach funding efforts with an eye to unselfishness no matter how self-centered the current system in which we are literally forced to be surrounded, until the Commons outgrows that current system, which it will, eventually.
Memorialize
Why am I writing this, since people don't openly respond? I'm writing it to memorialize it. It's part of the evolutionary process of bringing forth the Commons.
If others want to talk and talk about how great it would be if people were less selfish and if they want to continue to pipe away that human nature is frozen, that's their choice. It's the wrong choice, but they are free to be enslaved to wrong-headedness. I know the Christian Commons is the right thing. It is infinitely better than all the best laid plans of those who are transferring the general wealth to the ultra-rich.
