SOME OF MY RECENT COMMENTS ON OLDER POSTS
@RFK Jr. 2008 –
I like some of the things for which RFK, Jr., has stood up. He's right that the elections were stolen. He's helping to expose that with Greg Palast. (Too bad Greg's an atheist)
He is right to help the poor get heating oil (from Hugo Chavez's Venezuela), although oil isn't the way to go.
I do understand that changing heating-oil systems is costly but it must be done.
He is still mistaken though that the secular system holds any hope.

To get out of the current mess, we need to stop spending on the military.
The Wall Street bailout was pure evil, but so it the Pentagon budget.
The whole system is wrong and is falling.

This was a good effort, but where are the voices now a year later?
Condi Rice was speaking out. Laura Bush was even chiming in. Oil money won out though over the needs of the people.
How many Buddhists died?
Then came the floods.
Why are U.S. businesses paying the military dictatorship?
Why is the U.S. up in arms about Iran while Burma kills its people?
George W. Bush did nothing, because he doesn't think (wasn't instructed by his handlers that) Burma is strategic.
It's too bad that only selfish interest is what matters to the U.S. government.
If only the U.S. would stand up for what is right for its (righteousness') sake.

It is huge so-called political misuses that most concern me. That's criminal too, and they don't need to cut off fingers to make lives miserable.
Of course, you are right that there are people despicable enough to take an innocent person's finger to get at his or her money.
It's a sad truth.
What we need is a universal change of heart.
We need universal repentance and atonement or things will just keep getting worse and worse.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.

Which nation on Earth is acting in an enlightened manner? I say none is.
I'm not defending Iran (far from it), but if you're defending the official acts of Israel, you're defending evil.
If you're defending homosexuality, you are also defending evil.
That said, it is also evil to kill in the name of righteousness. Christ (the Messiah) doesn't do it and never will. Only false Messiahs advocate killing people.

Certainly, any John McCain "rebate coupon" will be targeted at those his corporate sponsors have told him to target for the sake of greater profits for those sponsors at the expense of the poor.
