Concerning Mormonism after giving it much carefull thought and consideration I feel that Joseph Smith could have been qualified to teach about the Old Testament. However even the Old testament declares that a high priest can only have one wife. Since a Christian minister is more than the equivalent of a Jewish high priest it is not suprising that the bible says a Christian minister can only have one wife. However Joseph Smith insisted on becomming a high priest, a minister of Christ and a prophet but unfortunately he lacked the necessary qualifications because he was too carnally minded and what he ended up with was a lot of bizarre teachings and sexual abuse and this is not suprising because Joseph Smith was a false prophet.

On the other extreme we have the Catholic Church that insists that all Christian ministers are to be virgins. This teaching seems to come from Paul who was a virgin and a missionary. To me this makes a lot of sense for a missionary to be unmarried. However I feel there is nothing wrong for a pastor of a local church to be married and to be a family man. Unfortunately for the Catholic Churches its refusal to ordain married men allows it to attract a lot of homosexual men who are naturally unmarried and this causes a lot of sexual abuse.
