Publications, library, certain site contents, and the like
It is important to state that by citing a book or a video or other material, offering a link to purchase a book, etc., or having a book in our library, the Church is not necessarily endorsing the material. The material we cite may be the creation of secularists, atheists, or other non-Christians. We cite them, offer them, or have them in our library within the full context of the meaning of our name: Real Liberal Christian Church.
We caution everyone to approach all such materials with a discerning mind to avoid all temptation. Read, listen, watch, etc., within context or be led astray.
Contents are copyrighted by their respective owners. The RLCC does not necessarily endorse all the coverage of contributors or outside sources quoted, cited, linked, or the like.
Also, we do not endorse, or campaign for, any candidate for secular office.
We agree with the egalitarian, anti-military, environmental, and humanitarian efforts of the mundane left. We do not agree with the near silence about libertinism by the said left in the name of tolerance or by the so-called Libertarians in the name of their selfish interests, which is simply caving into unwholesome aspects of lust, not leading in the proper direction toward perfection that is incorruptibility of the soul. At the same time, therefore, we agree with the call of the mundane right for a culture that does not promote or support sexual or other forms of depravity.
In our case, we call for no depravity of any kind, including militarism, greed, or stinginess, all of which takes the form of, among others things, capitalism. In any case, we are opposed to coercion. As Real Christians, we are not to restrain any but the children from being selfish, greedy, violent, or otherwise depraved. We are simply, clearly, and plainly to call for unselfishness, love, sharing, peace, and purity, all synonyms for God. Even with the children, we are to be gentle and understanding. Read our News and other content accordingly.

- Please use your real name (first and last; not a trade name or product name, etc.) and be clearly on topic concerning either the post/page or comment-thread content. One-liners likely will be disapproved especially for first-time commentators. The RLCC wants to avoid having this site turn into a collection place for those building nothing but back-links. We want this site to be used by people who really care about the RLCC and Christian Commons and who seek to help.

- Each comment must be approved before it appears. Please be patient.
- Cite source(s) of copyrighted materials. (When in doubt, cite the source.)
- Know your terms (definitions and connotations). Clarify your full context.
- Do not incite violence.
- Do your best to avoid committing libel. "If the meaning conveyed cannot by its nature be proved false, it cannot support a libel claim." Concerning "public figures," do not publish (post commentary) "with either knowledge of falsity or in reckless disregard for the truth." [Tom Usher of this website, for example, is a public figure.] "Accusing a minister of unethical conduct" is libelous unless true. The burden of proof rests with the person leveling the charge.
- If you are libeled on this website, ask for a retraction. Be specific.
- The Church is not in a position to fact check all comments. It is not libel for any comments publish by others on this website that (which comments) the Church does not know are libelous.
- Religious expression is protected (albeit under indeterminable qualifications) under both freedom of speech and freedom of religious exercise. What constitutes false, damaging, malicious expression is fluid in secular interpretation. Freedom of religious exercise is not absolute under secular law. Branches of government shift the fulcrum for balancing supposed democratically derived rights. What is permissible one day often is retroactively and wrongfully punished the next.
- Debate is welcomed on this site. Devolution into fruitless quarrelling is not.
- Commentators who show a pattern of ignoring points and direct questions will be cutoff — not approved.
Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
- The Church reserves the right to edit comments (spelling, punctuation, removing links, removing profanity, etc.) but is not responsible for statements of commentators.
